Attorney Voter Advocates
Voter ID is the civil rights struggle of our time. Millions of Americans - from veterans to the elderly to young adults to women - are losing their right to vote because of new voter ID laws.Voters in your state need your help! Navigating the bureaucratic thicket to obtain legal documentation for an ID can be complicated. Most states require a photo ID to apply for such records! The attorney who represents a citizen in need of a birth certificate or documentary proof of legal name change(s) can usually provide a copy of his or her own ID. VoteRiders is recruiting Attorney Voter Advocates (AVAs) to assist voters through this process. As an AVA you will:
- Assist voters to secure required documents to obtain voter ID
- Have access to VoteRiders’ expertise and voter ID educational materials for each of our targeted states (those that require government-issued identification to vote or proof of citizenship to register to vote) AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IN, KS, MS, NC, ND, NH, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA,and WI.
- With VoteRiders’ support, help serve as a resource to combat confusion in non-voter ID states.
