North Carolina: Early voting begins Thursday at BOE

The Robesonian,  October 14, 2017

Those who want to get their ballots cast early for the Nov. 7 municipal elections can do so beginning on Thursday.

And folks who are not registered can do that as well, and cast a ballot as One-Stop early voting remains available.

There are elections in all of the county’s municipalities, with spirited contests in Fairmont for mayor, and Lumberton and Red Springs for the town boards.

First-time voters who at the time of their initial registration did not provide their North Carolina driver’s license number or the last four digits of their Social Security number, or who provided a number that could not be validated, are required to show identification when they vote.
