Marquese K. Averett is an activist by passion and an organizer by training. Born and raised in Columbus, Georgia, he is no stranger to taking on tough issues. He has worked on many campaigns (electoral to issue based) all across the country for the last decade. He is a graduate of Fort Valley State University majoring in Political Science. Marquese enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends during his free time.
