Director of Communications and Development
Laina Reynolds Levy, PhD, has been engaged for two decades in democracy promotion and citizen participation. She has extensive experience in building collaborative partnerships with grassroots organizations along with managing communications campaigns and network knowledge-sharing initiatives. Previously with Partners Global, Laina created and built the organization’s online presence and led the communications team as well as organized peace and democracy-building programs from Albania to Indonesia. A skilled trainer and facilitator, she has led workshops in Evaluation, Communication, Strategic Planning, Conflict Resolution, and Facilitation for organizations all over the world. Laina has worked with William Ury at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. She holds a PhD and an MA in Conflict Resolution from the University of Bradford, UK and a BA in Political Science from Sonoma State University in California.
