Jake Spence

Wisconsin State Coordinator

Jake Spence was born and raised in Milwaukee, and serves as VoteRiders’ Wisconsin State Coordinator. Jake has organized and consulted on local campaigns in his home state since 2016, having served as a Regional Organizing Director and Field Organizer for the Wisconsin Democratic Party, Wisconsin Organizing Director for NextGen America, and most recently as Wisconsin State Director for the Working Families Party. Jake has also volunteered and worked for social service nonprofits in Milwaukee and currently serves as a board member for Groundwork MKE. Jake comes from a biracial family and is a staunch advocate for social and racial equality. He earned his BA from Northwestern University in Political Science & American History and is an avid beach volleyball player and sports enthusiast.
