National Voter ID Month of Action
Voter ID education and assistance have never been more urgent. State primaries are happening now, the 2022 midterm elections are fast approaching, and states are passing new and stricter voter ID laws at a rapid pace.
Join VoteRiders for a month of action to celebrate our 10th anniversary of helping voters navigate voter ID laws!
10 Ways to Take Action
As we reach double digits, VoteRiders is doubling down on our mission to educate and assist voters. Are you in? Here are 10 ways you can take action in April:
1. Check Your ID
Every state’s voter ID rules are different. Take 10 seconds and make sure you have the right ID to cast a ballot that counts! Check your ID here or text #IDCheck to 844.338.8743.
2. #IDCheck 10 Friends
Make sure your loved ones are ready with the ID they need to vote! Drop a link to VoteRiders.org/IDCheck in your group chat, send a DM with our Helpline info, and encourage everybody to check their ID NOW.
3. Help Spread the Word
With voting restrictions gaining speed in many states, it is critically important that we spread the word about our voter services. Post an #IDCheck to your social channels and encourage your friends, family, and followers to contact VoteRiders if they have questions or need assistance.
4. Join the VoteRiders Helpline Team
Our Helpline volunteers help field incoming calls and chats from voters – answering questions and connecting them with personalized ID support if they need it. Sign up to attend our next training session on April 4th at 8 PM ET.
5. Write Letters to Voters
Our April goal is to send 10,000 letters to voters in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Wisconsin.
Every letter delivers essential information and assistance directly to the voters who are most likely to be disenfranchised by voter ID laws.
RSVP for an upcoming letter-writing party and help make it happen:
6. Volunteer in a Key State
We’re recruiting in-state volunteers to work with the VoteRiders team and assist voters in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Wisconsin. Is that you? Sign up now!
