CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

How You Can Volunteer to Help

VoteRiders offers a variety of volunteer options. Our volunteer program is critical to growing our reach and providing voters with ID information and assistance.  You are essential in our efforts to stop voter ID laws from silencing millions of Americans.

Online

Direct Voter Outreach Volunteer
Deliver important ID information and assistance to voters from the comfort of your own home. Join our virtual letter-writing or texting teams as we reach out to eligible voters in key states to ensure that voter ID laws do not prevent anyone from having a voice in our democracy.

Virtual Voter Assistance Volunteer
VoteRiders is seeking dedicated virtual volunteers from across the country to provide free assistance to eligible voters in key voter ID states. This is an ongoing opportunity to make an immediate impact and directly help folks secure the ID they need.

Jobs include:

  • Providing virtual ID help to people who have requested assistance, through our partners or self-referral. Work one-on-one with voters on your own schedule!
  • Helping confirm DMV appointments and coordinating voter transportation. (Responsibilities include making appointment reminder calls, scheduling rides to the DMV/DDS and managing communications between drivers and voters.)

Wikipedia Team Volunteer
Work with our virtual Wikipedia team dedicated to improving articles in accordance with Wikipedia protocols.

On the Ground

Key State Super Volunteers
Do you live in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas or Wisconsin?  VoteRiders is looking for “Super Volunteers” to support our work in these states. On-the-ground opportunities include:

  • Assisting at VoteRiders Voter ID Clinics
  • Providing our tools and services to local partners
  • Representing VoteRiders in your community
  • And much more!

Pro Bono Legal Volunteer Opportunities

VoteRiders has a robust pro bono legal program. We work with firms in all states who are interested in donating their legal services to further our voter ID education and assistance efforts. Opportunities include legal research and support and becoming trained Voter ID Assistance volunteers.
