Registered voters in Missouri must confirm their identity when they vote in person.
If you are a registered voter but do not present a valid ID at the polling place, you may cast a provisional ballot.
You must complete a provisional ballot affidavit on your provisional ballot’s envelope. You will be asked to provide your name, address, date of birth, and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
Your provisional ballot will be counted if your signature on the provisional ballot envelope matches your signature in the voter registry.
Most voters do not need to provide a copy of acceptable ID to vote by mail in Missouri, but your ballot envelope may need to be notarized.
