Judy Fishman

Judy Fishman is a political activist, an advocate for effective education and an environmental preservationist. She served as Executive Director and Board President of The Children’s Nature Institute from 1995 to 2015. A Los Angeles-focused organization, CNI provided educational programs and taught environmental awareness to over 300,000 very young at-risk children, their parents and teachers. Previous to her involvement with CNI, Judy was an Educational Therapist for special needs children. She has an MA in Educational Psychology with a specialty in Child Development. Judy is a member of The Everychild Foundation and chairs the 0-5 advocacy division of their Policy and Advocacy Committee. She serves on the Leadership Councils of Children Now and The National Resource Defense Council. Judy is a member of The Woman’s Political Committee and the Pacific Council on International Policy.
