Yolanda “Cookie” Parker is an Executive Advisor, Philanthropist, and Community Activist whose focus is on economic, social, and political equity. A seasoned tech entrepreneur, she created the first digital onboarding software for HR departments. Cookie’s firm, KMS Software, whose global clients included GE, KPMG, O’Melveny & Myers, TD Ameritrade, and Citigroup, was acquired by SAP in 2013. In addition to serving on the Board of VoteRiders, Cookie is on the Board of People For The American Way Foundation, National Foster Youth Institute, Getty House Foundation, and Yes2Jobs which she co-founded in 2019. Yes2Jobs’ mission is to change the economic paradigm for under-resourced communities by improving advancement, empowerment, and financial equity. Cookie served on the Sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee for the US Export-Import Bank, helped to produce a study presented by Environment California & America at the UN Copenhagen Climate Conference, and has been published by Employment Relations Today regarding hiring veterans.
